I started my career with Berendsen in 2007 when I joined my local site in Rainhill as an Area Sales Manager responsible for generating new business for the Workwear Division. The industry was new to me but the structured Induction I received helped me settle in very quickly.
Berendsen is a company that is willing to invest in growing its people from within and following my successful completion of the Management Development Program in 2009, I was promoted to Regional Sales Manager for the North in January 2010, taking the responsibility for leading a team of nine Area Sales Managers.
Now, as UK Product Marketing Manager for UK Workwear, I'm responsible for researching and analyzing our market demands and trends to ensure that our product portfolio meets and satisfies those requirements. I get to work with colleagues in all areas of the business, including sales, service and production, so it's a varied and interesting role where I can make a clear contribution to the company's growth.
